Abstract:

This talk will provide an overview of Smith-Kettlewell’s RERC (Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center) on Blindness and Low Vision, funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). It will include a history of the RERC program and its main funding agency, highlights of past and recent achievements, and a summary of present projects.
