Abstract:

Informed Consent is the critical first step for any study that includes human research participants. It starts with recruiting, screening, and presenting a formal, IRB-approved Consent Form to potential study participants.  This talk will address the process and requirements involved in making this a smooth process, to ensure that all studies conducted at Smith-Kettlewell are in compliance with federal regulations.
