As part of the continued implementation of the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Guidance, SKERI has developed the Access and Data Security Policy and Procedures. The goal of the policy and procedure is to protect the confidential and proprietary information of the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute (SKERI) and the privacy interests of the parties whose sensitive information is entrusted to SKERI.

The Smith-Kettlewell Board of Directors approved an Access and Data Security Policy at the November 7, 2016, Board meeting.

This is a mandatory training session to review the Access and Data Security Policy and Procedures. All current employees, contractors, consultants, temporary personnel, interns, volunteers, and other workers or individuals who use SKERI facilities or computing resources are required to attend.

Please set aside 2 hours for this meeting (we may not need this long, but just in case); lunch will be provided.
