Welcome to the Smith-Kettlewell Haptics Symposium! The goal of this event is to honor and remember Dr. Val Morash and her research. The symposium will focus on aspects of haptics that Val was researching. These aspects include fundamentals of haptic perception and applications to education and assistive technology for people with visual impairments. We hope that this symposium will spur greater interest in these aspects of haptics in the research community.
